Shoppers in the centre of Palma were given a pleasant surprise yesterday as they were not only joined by the Infanta Elena, sister of King Felipe VI of Spain, but Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark, Countess of Monpezat, who was also out and about shopping.
Princess Mary was born in Tasmania but is married to Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark. Frederik is the heir apparent to the throne of Denmark, which means that at the time Frederik inherits the throne, Mary will automatically become Queen consort of Denmark.
