Around half three on Sunday morning, a Ford Focus crashed into the glass barrier above the entrance to the car park in Palma's calle Marquès de la Sènia. (This is a road on the first line behind the Paseo Marítimo that leads into Avenida Joan Miró.) Witnesses say that the driver lost control, crossed a red light, mounted the pavement and ended up with the car lodged somewhat precariously above the ramp into the car park. He was asked if he was ok, said he was and then ran off.
