Dear Sir,
We have just returned from Alcudia (reluctantly - having had a fantastic time there... the people, the resort, the weather... all superb) despite being robbed in Palma... a very expensive carnation and I don't think my partner will ever have a romantic impulse ever again!.. and being abandoned in the resort by the holiday Rep who mysteriously disappeared when the coach strike appeared... Our thanks however go to 'Steve' the Scottish guy from Direct Travel, who let us tag along with his people when we decided that public transport was the only way of getting to the airport!... why more reps didn't do this for their clients I'll never know... there were empty buses running to the airport every hour!
VIVA Mallorca... we look forward to our next visit!
We also wonder if you can help us... for fun we picked up a lottery ticket for Saturday 30 June, but as we had to go to the airport early we were unable to find out the results... could someone tell us the best way to find out if ours was a winner and we can come back to stay this time... Hopefully our Spanish will be improved next time too!
Kind regards,
A wonderful holiday despite being robbed
