As a Travel Agent in London and also somebody who, many moons ago, worked in Majorca and who has also holidayed in Cala Bona for the last 35 years - I thought that you might be interested to know that, contrary to a lot of press reports, UK tourists are still very much travelling and booking holidays for this and next year.
The great British public is not easily put off their annual or biannual holidays. The stiff upper lip from The Blitz and years of IRA terror is still very much in evidence.
So I would ask everybody in the Tourist Industry in Majorca to just take a lot of the reports with a very large pinch of salt. Our agency is very busy and Majorca and the whole of Spain is selling well. I hope to see everybody next year in Cala Bona.
