A regiment from Minorca has been called up for service in Bosnia next month.
The military commander of Minorca, Francisco Riva Mayor, will explain the details of what the operation involves this week. The regiment will be the first from the Balearic Islands to have been deployed to Bosnia and apparently a number of regiments were assesed over the past few weeks and the Minorcan regiment was elected as the most suited for the tasks it will be performing in Bosnia.
