A man was rushed to hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning, after falling from a height of several metres, when he was trying to climb up the façade of the building where he lives. He was named as Juan José Duran, aged 30, of Son Rapinya. According to police reports, he arrived home shortly before 4am, and found he had forgotten his keys. He did not want to wake his neighbours so he began to climb up the façade to his fourth floor flat. But he lost his balance and fell into the street. When Local Police and an ambulance arrived, he was conscious and was complaining of his injuries. He was taken to Son Dureta, where he was treated for bruising and other injuries. He said he told the police his story immediately because he did not want them to think there was any suspicion about his behaviour. The Local Police checked his story as a matter of routine and neighbours confirmed that he did live in the fourth floor. Duran was under observation in hospital yesterday, and sources said he was out of danger.
