Bold as brass

Householders beware. A thief in Pollensa is taking route one and just boldly marches into the home of his unsuspecting victims, picks up valuables and cash and then walks away. This is what happened to a British family who have a holiday home on the outskirts of Pollensa. The family were at home at the time of the robbery and were going about their household chores when a young man just walked in, collected a wallet and other valuables and ran-out, making his escape on a moped outside. “My son raised the alarm and I chased after the man but he got away. We were completely amazed at his boldness. We were all at home at the time. He stole my wallet which contained pounds and pesetas along with credit cards. We have reported the incident to the police, but we want to warn other people to beware. We are almost certain that there have been other victims. He usually chooses houses which are in isolated areas such as ours,” said the victim yesterday.
