German supermodel Claudia Schiffer turned 30 in Majorca yesterday and insisted she had no problems with leaving her twenties behind -- but said she still finds it hard to meet men. Turning 30 doesn't bother me at all, she told Stern magazine in a rare published interview recently. I'm happy that I'm not 21 anymore and shy as I was because I felt so awkward back then. Schiffer, who was discovered at age 17 while dancing in a Dusseldorf disco by Michel Levaton of the Metropolitan modeling agency, has been on the cover of around 550 magazines in the last 13 years. Even though she lives mostly outside Germany - in Monaco, New York, Paris and Majorca Schiffer has become a popular fresh-faced symbol for modern Germany, a country eager to put its turbulent 20th century past behind it.
Does anyone believe that I went 6 years without a man or sex
