A motorcyclist died yesterday afternoon, after being involved in a collision with a car on the road between Llubí and Sa Pobla. The accident occurred two kilometres outside Sa Pobla, shortly before 5pm. The Guardia Civil traffic authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been revealed, died instantaneously. In Palma, a 16 year old girl named as Macarena Z C died in a traffic accident in which three other teenagers were injured. The accident occurred late on Friday night, at kilometre 1.8 of the Sant Llorenç-Son Servera road, when the car in which they were travelling left the road on a bend and crashed into a pipeline. The other injured parties were named as Miguel F F, aged 19, who was driving, and passengers Alejandro M P, aged 17, and Lorena M P, aged 13. No medical bulletin on their condition has been issued. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
