Two Germans, a 45-year-old woman and a four-year-old boy were killed and seven others, three of whom were children, were seriously injured in a traffic accident near Sineu yesterday. According to the Guardia Civil, the accident happened at 3pm along the old Sineu road and involved two vehicles. Three children aged 6'8 and ten survived but the youngest died and four adults suffered injuries of varying severity. The four-year-old was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but died later yesterday evening. All of the adults were also rushed to Palma hospitals, one of whom was said to have been in a critical condition last night. A total of nine ambulances rushed to the scene with support from the Guardia Civil and the local police. The exact cause of the accident remained a mystery last night but crash investigators will return to the scene this morning.
