Lifted by his crucial goal in the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona on Tuesday night, Real Madrid star Steve McManaman is said to be planning to end this season by putting his girlfriend Victoria in the centre spot at the altar in Majorca next month. Macca, met Victoria, a barrister who now teaches English law to students in Madrid and speaks fluent Spanish, French and German, in a Liverpool night club eight years ago. They share a six-bedroom marble palace in Madrid and Macca bought a luxury villa on Majorca's exclusive estate Son Vida 18 months ago. Former Liverpool team mate and best friend Robbie Fowler is expected to be the best man and some of the greatest footballers in the world are expected to be on the guest list. Sources close to McManaman in Majorca said yesterday that he and Victoria have yet to decide on a location for the sunshine wedding, but they are looking at a May wedding to celebrate winning the Champions League as well.
