I find it mind-boggling that so many people who appear intelligent can believe things that are completely without any tangible merit. I know a number of people who believe complete nonsense like this. One in particular believes in all kinds of implausible theories. Yes, she believes the pandemic was a complete fake, and all the reports of people dying were faked, and the vaccines were just mind control instruments (naturally, it was "them" who did it ...again) ... Yada yada.. But one of my favourites is that all solar panels made in China contain mind control circuits that force people into a trance of belief in things that don't exist or never happened. It's the reason behind things like the fake pandemic, the fake war in Ukraine, the stolen US election... Maybe she's right about that. This in itself seems to be evidence of a growing pandemic of belief in bullshit. I've quizzed her about that, and she's been very forthright, sending me links to world renowned "experts" who write about this theory, yet the "evidence" they cite is theoretical at best. Worse, looking up the background of the authors reveal they hold a bachelor's degree in some distantly related field, from some obscure community college in say, Oklahoma. And even more laughable, have a long history of publishing other completely implausible conspiracy theories that not only have no tangible supporting evidence, but also have no tangible motivation for anyone to engage in it in the first place. It's bullshit for the sake of bullshit. It's worrying. There's a lot of people who believe this nonsense, and don't care if there's no practicable way it could possibly be true. It's what they *want* to believe. So they do.

Morgan WilliamsQuote : “Lastly (and back to earth) , what if Russia decided to invade the UK? Should everybody just stand by and let it happen? 'cause Putin is a good guy?”. If it did, quite a few people would stand by and let it happen if Mr Putin promised to help them eliminate the country’s indigenous population.

Richard PearsonIt's all a conspiracy by Bill Gates and George Soros. Or maybe SPECTRE are behind it all

Donald Jump'Hundreds of hours of tapes showing people stuffing ballots box's, obstructing and purposely delaying voters.' Well you've obviously seen these tapes so you won't mind sharing the link with us. Or was it just something, someone in the pub told you about. Maybe the person who told the world that Hillary Clinton was running a Satanic paedophile ring from the basement of a Washington DC pizza restaurant?

Donald JumpObviously Mr Williams hasn’t watched 2.000 Mules by Dinesh D’Souza. Whatever, it would be virtually impossible prove anything whilst the winning party is in power and is prepared to use the Justice system as well as a law enforcement agency to cover their tracks. No one (well those who aren’t asleep) can deny that they are using the same tactics to help Brandon or his carer, win the next one.

Morgan WilliamsIf you cannot see that the US election was stolen, then what is the point of arguing with you. Hundreds of hours of tapes showing people stuffing ballots box's, obstructing and purposely delaying voters. 100s of thousands dead votes the list goes on and on. Back to the war, what I am saying is that I won't fall neatly in to line and support the side that the government/media tells to follow or support. Especially a government who spent the last three years chasing me around with a needle.

Donald JumpCan you provide any verifiable evidence that; a) Russia had any good reason to invade Ukraine and kill thousands of civilians? b) Anyone making any substantial money in Russia, yet not supporting Putin, will not suffer the removal of that privilege (or simply be killed). In other words, if you're a rich Russian with a yacht, you need not support Putin? Any verifiable evidence of either of those things? Be aware, there's mountains of irrefutable evidence that Russia's invasion of Ukraine was totally unprovoked and serious war crimes were committed by Russia in that operation. Zero evidence of the reverse. Just conjecture. Also, virtually any Russian with any money or influence who expresses dissent nearly always suffers jail or death. Unless they run and hide. But even that is no guarantee. It's eerily similar to the Trump claim that the election was "stolen" by "them". Although not a shred of verifiable evidence can be found to support that claim. By anybody. Ironically, there's mountains of irrefutable evidence that Trump (and his supporters) did indeed attempt to overturn a legitimate election result. Yet, Trump supporters claim this completely debunked "theft" of the election as "the truth". I'd equally ask you to show me verifiable evidence of this "stolen" election, but you can't, because it doesn't exist. And aside from another example of the same type of verifiable disinformation that many many people actually believe (even though there's not a shred of evidence to support it) it's only mildly relevant to this yacht topic. And... you're giving "them" much too much credit. Humans are imperfect. It's completely implausible that a global conspiracy requiring the cooperation of 10's millions of fully cognisant human operatives, strategically placed amongst the entire global political, business, and social spectrum, committed to complete secrecy for the rest of their lives could be successfully established and managed without it leaking like a sieve. I suspect you may been watching too many spy or gangster movies. Lastly (and back to earth) , what if Russia decided to invade the UK? Should everybody just stand by and let it happen? 'cause Putin is a good guy?
