If you want kids educated in a language that isn't the official language in public schools, send them to a private school.

Zoltan TeglasYes, and look at all the idiots who gave you a thumbs up. Says it all.

Marvin Le MartianSo you are against giving people a choice ? That’s pure socialism (communism) isnt it ? Originally the law stated that it should be 50/50 but the socialists very quickly got rid of that. And it’s not the “older” generation who are behind this but rather the younger one who are now teaching the older generation’s children and grandchildren. Finally, if you want petulant, look no further than MÉS

Zoltan TeglasI meant 600€ a month. There's no edit function on here unfortunately.

Marvin Le MartianVox is a party whose leader has never had a job, and that think that other people should work for 600€ a week, so that tells you everything you need to know about them.

Vox seem to me to be a party that has a very confused identity and idealology. Against Autonomous regions and the diminishing the Spanishness of Spain but hoping that by misspending millions (something they have vehemently accused the socialists of) on giving people a language choice in schools it will bounce Catalan into the educational and therefore cultural bin. The PP must feel like they’ve got a petulant bunch of 5 year olds as partners.

This only hurts the children's future that wastes time studying something with diminishing value because older generations can't let go. This isn't helping their children's future in a global economy, there are more important global languages and things they should be studying and of which money should be invested.

James WalkerJust to be clear, should we understand that you agree with the policy of allowing parents to have the opportunity to choose the language ( Spanish or Catalan ) in which their children are educated ? Or are you advocating for just one, presumably Spanish ?

user James Walker | about 1 year ago

Absolute nonsense, it's just push back. Creating a number and a problem out of nothing because the idea has come from a right wing political party, when in reality all the idea is, is a choice. I thought that's what the left wing values was 10 years ago? True liberalism. But being left wing now is far to progressive, it's there way or the highway, believe in the nonsense or your wrong. It's not liberalism it's now communism. It's a cult really. They don't even care if facts debunk there narrative. It's brainwashing on a mass scale.

Peter PerfectIt’s all politics and power my friend. Or do you think that English will remain the only language universally used in British centres of education.?. The last few days have shown us towards where the centre of power is gravitating to. A certain scholar from Birmingham has been proven right once again.
