Yes, things are not the same. In the boating industry it is very noticeable that many regulars are just not coming. When the temperature gets over 30C it is no pleasure to take the boat out to be grilled in the blazing sun.

Richard PearsonHow very childish. How old are you? 12? Do grow up. And you haven’t proven me wrong at all. There’s nothing to argue. End of.

Perhaps those proprietors complaining about lack of customers would care to share how much, cumulatively, they have increased prices by over the last 2 years compared to inflation? It seems to me that in many cases this a problem of their own making.

SaraOf course I can. I just wanted to see how long it would take you to reply, and at the same time assertain that you had seen my comment responding to yours. As Jordan Petersen said to Cathy Newman during the famous interview on C4 : Gotcha !

Zoltan TeglasHe can’t even spell my four-letter name correctly now! 🙄

Come on guys (Sarah, Morgan, Zoltan et al), surely you can show your displeasure at being proven wrong by arguing your case in writing instead of handing out (9 so far), negative votes. It’s a good thing this forum isn’t like Trip Advisor or Amazon and that my livelihood and reputation, or lack or it, depended on the goodwill of its readers.

You are absolutely right ! We are facing the same problem in Cala D'or and many other friends with shops, bars and restaurants across the island as well...Cala Millor, Cala Ratjada, Sa Coma, Paguera, Can Picafort and so on...From 1st of april untill July there is between 20 to 40% less daily income regarding the last year. Yes, the hotels are full, yes there are many people on the island, but the parking lots are full with rented cars and the people hired them are just gone in the morning instead of being local and when the social media get them to the hot spots of the island, then this is what is causing lots of traffic and frustration from the Mallorcan people and the local bussines is also struggling ... Sadly i can't share pictures here, but i have seen lots of posts in the groups from people, proudly sharing they did 1000+ km for 6 days in Mallorca and others even 1400 for 7 days...

SaraI know, he doesn't know how to spell it and probably doesn't know where it is.

SaraBy the way, according to the RAE, the correct way to spell that country’s name is with a C. So the “Indi” and dispossessed way is with a K. Problem is, the press continue to use the C as they just aren’t with it. Nor, by the looks of it, are you.
