Stephen NivenTo Spain apparently. Probably to Magaluf. It would suite him there.
LoadsamoneyTotal rubbish. I have been to Bradford dozens of times and everyone speaks English there. And the menus are in English, even in Manningham.
David HollandI can't say I've heard Berliners speak to each other in English. You'll probably find they're not all Germans so they're just using a language that they all understand
Well Magaluf without even 10% of 'The Sun' readers has to be an improvement. Maybe they will just stay and trash Northern seaside towns with Tommy Robinson. Except of course old Yaxley-Lennon has skipped bail and fled to the continent.
Okay, so it’s a funny story. What’s not funny is the the UK Sun newspaper have just picked it up and used it as a news peg to run a hideously negative story about Majorca. Don’t mind offending Sun readers??? The group is owned by the Times and of course will be picked up by the independent, telegraph, guardian etc as per usual. The tabloids appear to be running MDB comment daily now. The collective message, that’s now being reinforced on a daily basis (it seems) is really damaging. It’s also giving irrational ‘foreigner’ hating bigots a platform. Protesters are justifiably trying to stop mass tourism. Most people sympathise with them. But there’s a real danger this messaging will be hyjacked by the prejudiced few, who graffiti ‘kill tourist’ type slogans on walls. Sad times, for Majorca.
CompoWe'll take any bodies money mate. Your welcome anytime canny lad.
Zoltan TeglasWhen I go to Pagurea I get spoken to in German At the cala Fornells in spainish . And everyone gets a laugh at my attempts to reply. And everyone speaks English in Berlin even the Berliners to each other’s. Strange old world.
RedbaronSo , you’ve been up the west road
You should go to Miami Mate they only speak Spanish and all the signs are in Spanish !
Apolonia RiutortEs sarcasmo. Los ingleses se quejan de que nadie habla inglés durante sus vacaciones en España, pero no saben hablar ni una palabra de español más allá de "dos cervezas, por favor".
