Que Pasa?It looks like you forgotten all the cruiseships visitors!

Raul G.B.Compulsory buying and speculating by foreigners?! The Mallorcans with money, i know of, are the ones buying them up and let them to foreigners. Or just let them lay idle, hoping to speculate. It's easy to point fingers and blame all but locals for all bad happenings, but life isn't like that anywhere, not even here.

Raul G.B.What does 4 cruise do for Palma? Clogging it up! I assume the government generate a considerable sum every time they use the port, otherwise they would have stuck to their promise to reduce them.

Que Pasa?Good job it almost never rains all summer.

user Que Pasa? | 26 days ago

It's even worse in Summer when it rains. All the tourists who would normally be lobstering it on the beaches pile into Palma making the buses and the city overcrowded.

If you’re nth generation Mallorca,I have no sympathy for you . You sold every last piece of land , every casa de puerros and now you’re crying.you sold your birthright so it’s no longer yours.

I don't think there's any doubt that there are too many visitors, and there is no simple solution. It's probably going to be a mix of government controls/limits and using market forces - essentially taxing tourists more. What I can see happening in the short term is the more caring, sensitive visitors, who like to embrace the local culture and don't want to be part of the problem, they will stay away. The unsympathetic, selfish types, who want KFC and to post sunny pictures of themselves on social media, will still visit, no matter how crowded it gets.

Raul G.B.Actually in English (the language we are communicating in here) the € sign comes before the number. If I write a comment in Spanish I will write it after the number. Thanks.

LSPProblem is that the people that complain now about all this is who made it happen in the first place. No invasion = life in peace. When someone does something is ok, but when their peers do it to.... Oh! You can't do that! Boohoo!
