Burgundy BlueIt's not his fault. Confident cluelessness runs in the family. But that makes the believers quite useful. https://euroweeklynews.com/2025/01/21/trump-mistakes-spain-as-a-brics-nation/

Burgundy BlueMay I quote from a comment made by your good self yesterday ? “Oh, for God’s sake, just shut the fuck up for once”. Thanks

In my humble opinion, none of the current leaders of the three parties in contention to win the next general election will be in power when said election occurs, however much dosh is passed their way. Tempus voluntatem

Richard Pearson is the poster child for swivel-eyed looney brexiteers. As evidenced by his constant yet unconscious willingness to humiliate himself in public.

tranq tranquerKermit made some handsome bob from Brexit, and his wealthier cronies made orders of magnitude more, shorting the pound and various British stock and bond markets... But this time, he stands to make much more. If Trumsk buys him the big seat at number 10, all he has to do is take orders from the commander in chief, and hand over anything they want. For that, he'll get plenty of rewards ... Yachts, palaces, lots of bitcoin... And yet, none of it will be traceable to Kermit, who will officially still be living on the few million he scored from Brexit and his meager PM salary. It doesn't get much better that that, eh?

tranq tranquer“Well everyone below seems to have got the general idea”. Really ? I am still made to feel welcome at all of the clubs I have ever belonged to, some even enquire when I will be joining again, because they see me using it socially and spending my money there. As for the old “advisory referendum” argument, that went out of the window years ago. Labour’s Harold Wilson was the first PM to downgrade Parliament by using this system, even so, he promised, in writing, to respect the voters decision. If he did (respect the decision) why can’t Johnson when he wasn’t the PM to call for the referendum in the first place, but still gets blamed for it ? As for DJT, I doubt if he could give 2ff’s what the current UK government think about him now or will do in the future. Supporting third world countries and its politicians isn’t on his list of priorities right now. Cheers

Well everyone below seems to have got the general idea , but I guess it still makes good copy for those who still cannot grasp reality. As for Kermit the Frog, I refer you to most of our current government who are now having to backtrack rapidly on their previous comments about the man taking office in the USA tomorrow. It is no means inconceivable that in a few years time " Kermit" might be in a similar position closer to home.
