Peter, thank you but paper was published in 2017, long before the Covid crisis. It also talks about vaccine preventable deseases, which Covid apparently isn’t. It is mainly referring to influenza where young children are concerned. The main question should be: Can I, as a fully vaccinated person catch Covid and infect others ? The answer is yes. If this were not so, why are so many vaccinated people becoming infected with the latest variant ?. One could also ask why so many unvaccinated people are NOT becoming infected with it.
Read this for your answer Charles. https://media.chop.edu/data/files/pdfs/vaccine-education-center-vaccinated-unvaccinated.pdf
I agree 100%... If you don't want to be a responsible member of the community then stay home!
Maybe when someone can prove they got covid from an un-vaccinated person in a public space, they can sue them for damages. I am sure there will be a quick change in attitude from those selfish people who do not care about another's health.
To expand on your 'island' suggestion. Assume 2 islands, one only occupied with people who were tested before allowed in but unvaxxed. The second occupied by the vaccinated, untested. Which island do you think would have the most covid cases in say 2 months?
And what do you call the vaccinated people who have asymptomatic covid and are out and about spreading covid....selfish? A far more constructive idea is to promote weekly antigen tests...don't you think?
Please explain why not having been vaccinated puts other people at risk.
Here hear, well said Jason. These anti vax people are selfish and a disappointment to themselves and others. If or rather when they get covid badly, I suppose they expect the poor doctors and nurses to treat them? These idiots make my blood boil.
Well said Jason. They are all selfish and mostly from my experience a bit stupid.
Most people vote against the party they least want in government. Their 'x' is not a mark of overwhelming agreement.
