Eight years after delivering one of Majorca's most memorable live performances, Mick Hucknall and Simply Red will return to the iconic Palma Bullring on their Big Love thirtieth anniversary world tour. One of only two live performances in Spain this summer,  the show will almost certainly be a sell-out event in the peak of the summer season.

Promising another memorable night under the stars in the unique and evocative atmosphere of the Plaza de Toros the band will play all their classic hits including Stars, If You Don't Know Me By Now and of course their biggest hit Money’s Too Tight To Mention, plus songs from their new album Big Love. The distinctive Simply Red sound, based around Mick’s vocals, is a blend of blue-eyed soul, pop, rock and reggae. Whether it’s a slow, romantic ballad or an up-tempo dance track, it’s infectious and unmistakably Simply Red. Having sold over 50 million records since the 80s, the truly iconic British band have become one of the biggest live acts in the world with a universally loved songbook.

Promoter David Giles (Crazy Music Productions) said: ”I am delighted to bring Simply Red back to Palma eight years on from their last stunning performance in front of the then Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia and 8,000 fans. Mick's unique vocals are so suited to the amazing acoustics of the bullring and I am sure he is going to get Palma rocking again this August."
