Yesterday it was Alcudia, today it is Magalluf. A fire in the Salobrar de la Porrassa, i.e. the Marina wetlands area, was confirmed at just before half past four this afternoon. It was classified as level one, indicating a need to protect property and people but without there being a major risk.
Water-bombing helicopters were used to tackle the fire which was under control an hour and a half later.
Ibanat reports that 3.7 hectares have been affected. With regard to the fire on Sant Marti in Alcudia yesterday, two hectares were affected.
