What's on in Majorca: 26 September-2 October
Autumn's here and so are Majorca's fairs. This coming week there are fairs in Alaro, Alcudia, Esporles and Llucmajor. There is also a major fair of different types of music at various locations in Palma from Wednesday. Santa Ponsa's Oktoberfest starts on Thursday. And Cala Ratjada's fireworks display, postponed from the summer fiestas, is on Wednesday.

Main events are from Friday to Sunday, including the "night of fire" (demons and fireworks) on Sunday. Binissalem has a demons' spectacular in the early hours of Saturday, and its wine fair is on Saturday and Sunday.
