The fourteenth of March is the date for an anniversary that no one will ever wish to celebrate. It was the day in 2020 when the state of alarm was declared in Spain. Three days before, the World Health Organization had declared the pandemic; and three days before that declaration, the eighth of March, 8-M as they like to abbreviate it here, was International Women’s Day.
