CAMPAIGNS by both the British and Spanish governments in Spain calling on British expats to get their paperwork in order are proving successful. There are now 381,000 British citizens living legally in Spain, according to figures from the British Embassy yesterday. In September 2019 this figure stood at 365,967.

Absolutely no sympathy, plenty of time to get their act together and paperwork in order prior to the cut off date. And not surprisingly most crying woe is me appear to have voted for Brexit. We that choose not to live in the Uk are immigrants in a foreign land and like it or not have to adhere to the laws etc of that land.
