Doggie race at Port Adriano

Port Adriano invites everyone to the Doggie Race, a unique family event where pets take center stage!

This special race encourages families to run together with their furry friends, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of pet ownership. The goal is to make Calvia a more pet-friendly municipality by increasing acceptance of pets in public spaces and creating green areas for them.

The event features a 2km circuit where participants can either run or walk alongside their pets. It’s a non-competitive race, ensuring a fun atmosphere for all. Every participant will receive a prize at the finish line, emphasizing enjoyment over competition.

Scheduled for Saturday, October 19, the day begins with race bib pick-up from 9am to 11am and includes various activities such as the solidarity race, prize-giving, exhibitions by the Guardia Civil cynological service, agility workshops, and a canine parade hosted by the Asociación Peluditos de Son Reus to promote dog adoption.
