Orchestra concert proceeds to Valencia

All the proceeds from the December 12 concert by the Balearic Symphony Orchestra will go to those affected by the floods in Valencia.

The programme for the concert will feature Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 and the opening to the composer’s ‘Don Giovanni’ as well as Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’. The soloist will be Russian-Armenian pianist Eva Gevorgyan. Now 20, she was a student at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and has performed at major festivals, e.g. Verbier in Switzerland and the International Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój in Poland. She was a finalist at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2021.
