This year's Christmas show in Mallorca. | Facebook
Los Payasos de la Tele is the name of a famous company of Spanish clowns that originally consisted of three brothers - Gaby, Miliki and Fofito.
They started performing in Spain in 1939 and subsequently spent many years working in the US, Cuba and Latin American countries. They returned to Spain in 1972, which was when the 'tele' became part of the story. Televisión Española hired them for a new children's programme, 'El gran circo de TVE'.
Christmas in Mallorca wouldn't be complete without the circus, and each year it is brought to the island by Circo Alegría.
There is always a different theme, and for this Christmas it is a tribute to Gaby, Miliki and Fofito and Los Payasos de la Tele. This celebrates the 50th anniversary of the TV show and features heirs to the original trio.
The shows run until January 7.
