The charismatic Eduardo Guerrero on stage at Palma's Auditorium

Now aged 40, Eduardo Guerrero is one of Spain’s most charismatic flamenco dancers.

He started dancing when he was six before studying at the Dance Conservatory in Cadiz and taking roles with, among others, the National Ballet of Spain.

As one review has put it: “He dances with fury and from the guts ... but never loses his elegance, the style that is his hallmark.”

Last year, his flamenco show that had been “inspired by the poetry of the lighthouse” was a huge success in Palma; the show had originally toured lighthouses in Spain.

He’s now back with a show called ‘Debajo de los pies’, Under the Feet, which combines tradition with contemporary dance and, with the contributions of his company, “builds a universal narrative”.
