The TITANIC:The Reconstruction exhibition, the Titanic Foundation's latest major challenge, in its final stages of construction | Youtube: FUNDACION TITANIC
The Titanic Foundation brings its macro exhibition "Titanic The Reconstruction" which can be visited in the Sala Magna del Pueblo Español in Palma from August 5, as part of its international tour, which has seen a record number of visitors to a travelling exhibition, with the figure of 84,942 people in just 9 days!
The star of this exhibition is undoubtedly the largest and most spectacular reconstruction of the Titanic in the world, on a scale of 1:30, 12 metres long, 2.70 metres wide and 4.20 metres tall. In addition, this reconstruction has an open starboard side so you can "visit" and admire what the "ship of dreams" looked like inside.
Another highlight is the original Titanic car, the Brush D24, manufactured in Detroit in 1909.
The exhibition, the only official exhibition of the Titanic Foundation, is made up not only of the reconstruction of the largest and most spectacular Titanic in the world and the original Titanic car, but also of documents, images and original objects, including the original size replica of the Marconi cabin, the painting "The Dream of the Titanic" by the Cantabrian painter Enrique Gran, personal objects of Millvina Dean, the last survivor, as well as the space dedicated to paying tribute to the Musicians of the Titanic.
The exhibition runs until September 24.
