Poster of the event.
Mallorca can’t get enough of wine events.
And why not? There’s much to celebrate. Pollensa holds its wine fair in the spring, the island’s largest wine fair, and the municipality will be hosting the eighth Raïm Wine Festival in Cala San Vicente (raïm in English is grape).
This festival is essentially an itinerant promotion for the Vi de Terra PGI (Protected Geographical Indication). Fourteen bodegas will be participating, and there will be food trucks and live music as well as all the wine. The PGI is based in Santa Maria, a municipality covered by the Binissalem DO. The Cala San Vicente event will in fact clash with the first day of the Binissalem Wine Fair, though this fair is over two days. Absolutely no shortage of wine to be tasted, therefore.
