The Fira del Ram is not only the largest funfair in Mallorca, it is one of the largest in Europe.
There are some 170 attractions (for all ages), the giant Ferris wheel being one of them. It towers over the Palma landscape; it’s unmissable. There’ll also be the Vikng boat and the traditional favourites - the bumper cars.
The fair’s association with Palm Sunday is nowadays a loose one. The name comes from Diumenge de Rams, Palm Sunday having been one of three days a year when the image of Veronica - who wiped the face of Christ on his way to Calvary - was venerated. From this, a fair began to develop as long ago (so it is thought) as the mid-fifteenth century.
There is two free parking areas available near the fair. Also if you want to take public transport you need to take the bus line 10 (Sa Indioteria) which drives past the fair grounds. If you come metro you need to get off at the Son Fuster Vell stop.

Monday to Thursday 4.30pm to 11.30pm; Friday 4.30pm to 1am; Saturday and evening prior to a public holiday 11am to 1am and Sunday and public holidays 11am to 11.30pm.
Price
Tickets are between three to five euros. There are 2x1 coupons to be used only during the week.
