British band Morcheeba join the line-up of the 'Es Jardí' cycle. | R.C.
The first Mallorca Live Festival was held at the end of April 2016 at the Son Fusteret events ground in Palma.
Headlining this were Skye & Ross - Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey from what had been an important act formed in the mid-1990s which embraced the DJ/producer as a member of a band. With Ross’s brother Paul, they were Morcheeba.
They enjoyed considerable success, dropping the name after Paul left in 2014. The name was subsequently restored, and Morcheeba appeared in Mallorca in 2021 at the Mallorca Live Summer, the series of concerts after the festival, which had moved to Magalluf. Es Jardí (The Garden) is now the title of these concerts, and Morcheeba will be returning.
