Flamenco with a rap artist enthusiast

This year’s Paco de Lucía Mallorca Festival will have an official presentation in Manhattan on February 19.

Some of the artists who will take part in the festival will perform in New York, the dates in Mallorca starting on March 8. One of the concerts will feature a leading figure in contemporary new flamenco, the Alicante-born guitarist, Yerai Cortés.

Also a composer and producer, he was the subject of a documentary film, ‘La guitarra flamenca de Yerai Cortés’, that was released last year. This film hints at his innovative collaborations, as it was directed by Antón Álvarez, better known as rapper C. Tangana, who in the past has headlined at the Magalluf Mallorca Live Festival.
