Mallorca can’t get enough of Queen

DGB Producciones is a show and events company from Almeria, whose stable includes ‘Queen Revolution’, an Italian tribute to Freddie Mercury and the band.

Mallorca, it seems, can’t get enough of Queen tributes. They are staged regularly in Palma, and ‘Queen Revolution’ is coming to the island for the first time in May.

The lead man, ‘Nix Mercury’, is Nino Bolettieri, who studied at the Conservatory of Music in Matera in southern Italy and has worked with the Italian Cinema Orchestra. A piano teacher, it is his piano playing that provides him with one string to his Mercury bow. Then there’s the voice, and there also the dramatics associated with Freddie Mercury and Queen.
