Joaquín Riquelme is a viola soloist and a member of the Berlin Philharmonic.
From Murcia, his career progression prior to joining the orchestra in 2010 was rapid. By the age of 23, he was joint principal viola with the Barcelona Symphony and National Orchestra of Catalonia.
He and José Manuel Álvarez (violin) are the invited soloists for the Mallorca Chamber Orchestra's latest concert in Inca. This will feature Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra. This is considered to be the composer's most successful symphony and concerto crossover and has been influencing others ever since.
