Music and a drop of the hard stuff

Bodegas Suau in Pont d’Inca are best known for their brandy, the company tracing its origins back to Juan Suau having established a distillery in Cuba in the 19th century before founding the business in his native Mallorca in 1851.

On Saturday, the GLOP! event is coming to Suau. Advertised as offering brunch with oil, also on the card are a flea market, art exhibition, children’s entertainment and a whole load of live music acts.

Headlining the event are Guille Wheel & The Waves, who came to prominence with their 2023 single, ‘Summer Breeze’ (not the Isley Brothers song with same title), and are part of the Fresh collective in Mallorca which use a converted old theatre in the Tramuntana Mountains as a recording studio and rehearsal space.
