The jazz trio K12 will perform at Palma's Auditorum to unveil their latest record. | Archives
K12 is a jazz trio comprising Gori Matas (piano and compositions), Marko Lohikari (double bass) and Teo Salvà (drums) that was formed in 2019 and has since won music awards such as Palma’s Bonet de Sant Pere.
The band’s fourth album is ‘Landscapes We Found’. The concept for this revolves around unknown landscapes on a remote planet. It is a musical adventure exploring forests, islands, jungles, oceans and moons, and is consistent with an approach that has been pursued since the band’s formation.
Combining jazz with pop, classical and contemporary music, it is the work of three of Mallorca’s foremost musicians that allows for improvisation and great sensitivity.
