While some residents and hotels in Can Picafort complain about the noise from the Reggaeton festival, it has been the case that Puerto Pollensa residents have complained in the past about the beach party for the Virgen del Carmen (Mare de Déu del Carme) Fiestas.
There again, this is one of the ‘one-offs’ that are associated with fiestas, and the DJ bash on La Gola beach can rightly be described as a classic of the summer fiestas’ scene in Mallorca.
It is one of the most famous of all the parties. At the decks will be one of the island’s leading DJs, Biel Castell, and the DeeJays Group, which is actually an Inca-based company for DJs and events. The party is the night before what is also one of the most famous ‘correfocs’; the demons conclude their fiery marauding at La Gola.
