Quartet from one of the world’s finest orchestras in Soller

The Vienna Philharmonic, one of the finest orchestras in the world, was founded in 1842.

All its members come from the orchestra of the Vienna State Opera, and selection is rigorous. In fact, members have to apply to join, having demonstrated their abilities for at least three years with the opera.

It can therefore be guaranteed that any combination of musicians from the orchestra are outstanding, which will be the case with a string quartet for the Puerto Soller Classical Music Festival - Lara Kusztrich and Adela Frasineanu (violins), Christoph Hammer (viola), and Raphael Flieder (cello).

They will be performing Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 7 in F major, Op. 59, No. 1 and Schubert’s Rosamunde String Quartet and Quartettsatz D 703.
