Rising star named after Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan has recently been in Mallorca and there is a female artist born in Palma who was named after him.

Jordan Boyd last year released a song entitled 23. She was now 23 and Michael Jordan’s playing number was 23. It was the obvious thing to do!

A rising star on the island’s music scene, her urban style draws on British and Afro-American roots, drum and bass, house and Argentine trap. She will be one of three female performers at a special benefit concert organised by the Pollensa Rotary Club that goes under the title of ‘Elles’. In aid of the Afama Parkinson’s project, the line-up also includes singer-songwriter Sara Reus and Mallorcan singer and actress Clodine.
