Moon World is a show company based in Alicante whose current portfolio includes one of the top Queen tribute shows, Symphonic Rhapsody of Queen, and History of Rock 2.
From rock the company has moved to soul, and so The Best of Soul features five top-class singers accompanied by an ensemble with strings, drums and percussion, piano and sax.
The show highlights some of the timeless classics of American soul, such as Percy Sledge’s When a Man Loves a Woman, Sam & Dave’s Soul Man, The Drifters’ Up on the Roof, Gene Chandler’s Duke of Earl and Ben E. King’s Stand By Me. Motown gets a look-in, as do James Brown, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding. All heavy then with musical nostalgia from the sixties.
