When the Robin Sings is the intriguing name of an intriguing group of four musicians based in Mallorca who bring their respective backgrounds and traditions together in creating a gorgeous mix of folk music.

Mediterranean, Irish and Scandinavian combine with American in making a unique combination.

Formed in 2022, double bassist Marko Lohikari is arguably the best known member, given his various jazz collaborations. The other three members are Sinéad Cormican Benítez (vocals and violin), Gori Matas (piano) and Jordi Tugores (guitar and lute). Their debut EP in 2023 featured the exquisite ‘Seasons’ with additional strings and English lyrics. Well worth checking out.
