Sergei Dogadin, who currently resides in Vienna, made his debut with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra in 2002 at the age of 15.
The winner of first prizes such as the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow in 2019, he has performed with leading orchestras such as the London and Royal philharmonics.
Described as one of the best violinists of his generation, he is the invited soloist for the latest Balearic Symphony Orchestra concert at Palma Auditorium; a busy week for the orchestra as they also have two further performances of Puccini’s ‘Turandot’.
The programme includes the best-known work by Austrian composer Alban Berg, his Violin Concerto dedicated “to the memory of an angel”.
