On Friday, September 8, a classical music concert, initiated and organised by the Rotary Club of Calvià International, will take place at 6pm in the church of Sant Pere of Búger.
Antoni Lliteres (http://antonilliteres.com/) as tenor and Waltraud Mucher (https://about.me/mucherwaltraud) as mezzo-soprano are remarkable and world-renowned artists. They will be accompanied by Pedro Aguiló on the piano, who will undoubtedly play an important role in perfecting the musical performance.
Both tenor and mezzo-soprano voices are known for conveying a wide range of emotions and nuances which, together with the piano accompaniment, promise an impressive performance.
Búger is the smallest municipality on Mallorca and the concert will be a great opportunity not only to enjoy classical music in an atmospheric setting, but also to support the charitable work of the Rotary Club of Calvià International and the artists.
The entrance fee for the concert is 20 euros. Tickets can be purchased here
Of course, donations to our charity account are also possible by clicking here
The artists plan to sing the following pieces, among others (list not exhaustive):
Duet:
- Love is a sweet light
- Lips are silent
Opera/Operetta:
- Musica proibita (Gastaldon)
- Core 'ngrato (Cardillo)
- O sole mio
- Nessun dorma (Puccini)
