Virtually Abba (but not holograms)

Abba may have morphed into holograms, or more accurately remarkable avatars (Abbatars) of their real selves, but tribute acts continue to be one hundred per cent real life.

They are not virtual Abba, except in a tribute sense. And one of the very best is based in Manchester.

Based on the Swedish group's 1979 tour and Live at Wembley Arena, Masters of the Scene recreates the thrill and excitement of one of the greatest pop groups of all times.

It is a mark of this particular tribute act that they will be touring Spain and playing some of the country's major concert halls - the Teatre Coliseum in Barcelona, the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, and the auditorium in Palma.

All the favourite songs will feature. There are too many to mention for a group which, way before they became avatars, won the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton on April 6, 1974.
