Welsh benediction in Palma

The DJ/producers who perform in Mallorca are largely only really known to dance and electronica aficionados.

Some do of course cross into the mainstream and enjoy regular chart success, an example of this being Hot Natured’s excellent ‘Benediction’ from 2012.

Hot Natured were and still are American Lee Foss and Welsh DJ Jamie Jones. The latter hosted his own Paradise party at DC10 in Ibiza for eight seasons from 2012 before moving to Amnesia. He’s been active since 2006 and is one of the genuinely innovative and leading names in what can at times appear to be a very crowded and rather homogeneous music scene. He headlines next month’s Origen Fest date.
