From 9 to 11 March 125 classic cars from 11 different countries will take part in the XIX Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca based in Puerto Portals. For three days they will race through the unique stretches that the island of Mallorca has to offer. | Youtube: RALLY CLÁSICO MALLORCA
The Rally Clásico Puerto Portals is a hugely popular event not just among classic car drivers but also spectators who love to admire cars from yesteryear.
Of the vehicles registered for this year's event, the oldest is a 1952 Triumph TR3. Then, from 1955, there is an Austin Healey 100 (BN1 series); the sports car was manufactured between 1953 and 1956.
Other oldsters include a 1957 MG MGA Roadster, a Jaguar XK from the same year and a Renault Dauphine from 1959. There are more Porsches than any other car in the various categories, which will also see BMWs, Ferraris and Ford Escorts (Cosworths as well as regular) among many others taking to the roads of Mallorca over three days next week.
