Match between Real Betis and Real Mallorca 2.0 away. | José Manuel Vidal
Five points above the relegation zone, Real Mallorca take on a Real Betis side currently ninth, three below their sixth place last season.
At this stage of the season, Mallorca certainly aren't out of the relegation woods, but it may be that there will be just the one relegation spot to scrap over. Almeria are hopeless, even though they ran Real Madrid close last weekend, and Granada have been struggling.
Betis and Mallorca share something in common this season - they have drawn more matches than all other teams in La Liga (Betis ten, Mallorca eleven). As with the recent visit of Rafa Benitez with Celta Vigo to the Son Moix, they are coached by a familiar figure from the Premier League, Chilean Manuel Pellegrino, once of West Ham and of Manchester City, where he was the immediate predecessor to Pep Guardiola.
Given the records this season, this match may well have draw written all over it, but Mallorca will be hoping for more.
