Triumph to Porsches - the classic car rally

The Rally Clásico Puerto Portals is a hugely popular event not just among classic car drivers but also spectators who love to admire cars from yesteryear.

Of the vehicles registered for this year's event,  the oldest is from 1952, a Triumph TR 3. Other oldsters include a 1957 MG MGA Roadster, a 1959 Renault Dauphine Gordini, a 1961 Porsche 356 B and a 1962 Austin Healey 3000 MK2.

There are more Porsches than any other car in the various categories, which will see a number of Ferraris taking to the roads, including a 1971 Daytona GR IV.

There are echoes of the Swinging Sixties with a Lotus Europa, all the cars geared up for a three-day spectacle that is highly anticipated every year.
