Who's that coach? It's Rafa Benítez

At the start of the current La Liga season, Celta Vigo lost their first three homes matches without scoring a goal. But in two of the first five matches, they picked up four points away.

Since then, they have generally been rather better at home than away, their last match (on January 3) having been a 2-1 win at home against Real Betis, who are currently seventh in the league.

Celta are seventeenth, three places below Real Mallorca. While a prospect of relegation may haunt both clubs, it is Celta who are in the slightly more precarious situation. Was this what had been imagined when their latest coach was appointed in June last year?

Almost certainly not, as that coach was none other than ex-Valencia, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Napoli, Real Madrid, Newcastle and Everton manager/coach Rafa Benítez.

Real Mallorca, Benítez or no Benítez, must fancy their chances at home, especially after a battling and unlucky defeat by Real Madrid last time out.
