Rehearsals of the show. | Andrew Ede
A miller’s son, a talking cat, a king, a princess and an ogre.
Traditional ingredients of an old fairy tale, but what type of talking cat is this? Deviating from tradition, the latest production from Nomads, the North of Mallorca Amateur Dramatics Society, features a circus, oddball circus acts, an evil cat with his slothful and stupid assistant, a mysterious and exotic other puss in boots, and a character in entirely the wrong panto.
The adventures to find the miller’s son fame and fortune, which reach an explosive crescendo, will all be revealed at Alcudia’s Casa de Cultura, C. Hostal 9 at 7pm on Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23. Tickets 7.50 euros from cast members or info call 678 282 815, 627 293 273. To ensure everyone’s enjoyment, the length of the show will not be suitable for under-fives.
